Among other moves, one other that is annoying is his paralyze move called Ululation. Cerberus has been known to unleash 3 to 4 Gates of Hades in a row fast so be prepared for a good fight. Just rotate stunners that after one person uses stun, next person is up to stun the next Gates of Hades. On general we used 4 stunners and 2 people on the outside to help paralyna the stunners just in case. The best way to prevent this from happening is to have stunners on standby at a distance of 20-20.5 away from Cerberus (so you don’t get affected by his paralyze move). A powerful area of effect move that does a lot of damage, including give you a burn effect that will tic away at your health fast, and normally unless a linkshell is prepared to handle a Gates of Hades, it can wipe the alliance rather quickly. Of course, when Cerberus gets low on his health, he loves to use a move called Gates of Hades. Our linkshell liked to use just straight up front line damage dealers to help bring him down. To fight Cerberus it takes a lot of physical damage and magical damage is highly resisted on him.

But from what I hear in the puppetmaster community, they are a nice piece of weapons for them as well. The claws however are used to make some very nice Hand-to-Hand weapons that I personally like to use as a NIN/DRK for tanking since it provides a very nice enhance to Enmity. The fact it also provides Enmity and fire resist is also a nice piece for tanks to use. Cerberus Hides are used to make the mantles and the High Quality version is one of the best pieces a Damage Dealing job can use. It drops a hide, and claws, which is used to make some very nice items used by many for casual play and End Game. The fact you can triple attack with it, makes it nice for Dark Knights all around. He is camped for many reasons, such as Algol, a very nice piece of weapon for 2 handed Greatsword. A beast from the underworld, imbued with the fires of hell (yea it hurts, trust me) spawns up in Mount Zhayolm. Cerberus, Khimaira, and Hydra work the same way. and if he doesn’t spawn then, 1 hour from there is another chance, and so it keeps going for the next 24 hours. there is another possible chance of him spawning at 11:30:30 P.M. Meaning if he doesn’t spawn at 10:30:30 P.M. the first possible spawn of Cerberus could happen and every hour after that for 24 hour period he can spawn in that window. 48 hours from that ToD on November 3rd at 10:30:30 P.M. The best way for me to explain how it works is to give an example.

Their window, however, is a 24 hour gap and the actual spawn of them could happen every hour. Upon the ToD of the HNM, it takes 48 hours upon that ToD for the window to open up on these HNM. With the example I used for The Great Wyrms these 3 HNM work on a similar method but the time is cut drastically.

Before I go into details on how to fight each of the 3 HNM, I will give you a brief description of how the spawning of each of the HNM work.

These 3 were introduced slightly after the release of the expansion with a version update and mostly 2 out of the 3 of them are highly camped and sought after by Linkshells. Let’s talk about the Treasures of Aht Urhgan HNM Cerberus, Khimaira, and Hydra. Welcome ladies and gentlemen, Mithra and Galka, and all Tarutarus alike! Here is another instalment of End Game Scene by Fadian.
